There should be no other consideration for a vet, than to work with Veterans United. The attention to detail and service they provide is beyond measure. The whole team did a wonderful job at helping me find and obtain my new home. Leanna Moss is a gem. She kept me informed, was quick to respond to my questions, and is just overall on top of the game. Despite a setback due to circumstances outside of EVERYONES control, the team kept pushing forward. And once the obstacle (VA appraiser) delivered his report (weeks late) Leanna and the team pushed hard to get the job done and get me to closing. This is the second time I purchased a home through Veterans United and if there is ever another in my future, I am sure I will use them again.

Overall, the experience was positive with Veterans United. I am a first time home buyer and going through the rigorous VA loan process was a challenge due to my minimal understanding. I give the company excellent review on customer service, as well as knowledge. To be fair, I have to mentioned a few surprises occurred at the end that blindsided me (e.g. underwriting). This was the lenders fault for not catching that a few more documents were needed earlier. This would have made our closing miss a deadline. In the end, it worked out because the buyer (myself) and the seller have a positive relationship, the purchase was already agreed upon (versus an aggressive, competitive market), and we the buyer/seller were able to turn around the new requested documents. I am unsure how the situation would have unfolded in a different scenario.I would recommend Veterans United to my friends with no hesitations.

Buying a home is a very stressful process to go through to begin with. But thinking about having to deal with your lenders over the phone ONLY, makes it even a little more intimidating knowing I cant just walk into a local branch an talk to my lender. But our experience with Veterans United was amazing! Our loan team made everything very easy and smooth along the way. Not one time did we ever feel like we were left in the dark not knowing what exactly was going on. It didnt matter how many questions or how many times we had questions our loan officer always made us feel important and was very friendly. If everyone I knew was eligible for a VA home loan I would recommend Veterans United 150% of the time, you will not be disappointed.
