After purchasing several homes with various lenders, Veterans United is by far the easiest and thorough, as well as pleasant lender I’ve ever used. I highly recommend them! Their commitment to helping veterans is amazing!
Go somewhere else for less of a headache and better communication. Also, I had an unlicensed woman on the team calling people on my behalf that I’d never spoken to which I DID NOT appreciate since I’d never spoken to her until I emailed her myself. I genuinely think I got an ulcer from this whole ordeal because they assured me we would close on the set date and we weren’t even close to closing when the date approached and passed until I got their home office for Ohio involved. I never heard from them unless I contacted them first or had more flaming hoops to jump through. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!!!!!

As far as someone else calling on your behalf, there are certain verifications that must be done throughout your loan process and by an uninterested third party for compliance reasons. My Loan Team Lead, Corey, was in constant contact with me about what was happening with the loan, what documents I needed to turn in, and was able to answer any questions that I had.
