As first time homeowners, we were a bit nervous and really didn’t know the process of purchasing a home. This team has been incredible and we were able to learn so much from them. They have been supportive, caring, and helpful throughout this whole process. We want to say that we are extremely thankful and know that we really appreciate all that you do. You guys were the best.

When it was recommended that I use Veteran's United, it took about a year before I actually called. I can't believe I waited, even a little bit. Once I called, though, it still took a year, but they were very helpful and precise in guiding me on how to get approved and through the whole buying process.

My first homebuying experience was a traditional local Bank Mortgage. It was stressful even though the loan officer was a friend. I felt pressured, inadequate and uncomfortable. The process took weeks with dozens of changes and multiple trips to the bank. Veteran's United has the homebuying process down to a science. It was simple, smooth and streamlined. I can't imagine a less stressful process. Thank you Veteran's United. I wish there was a word that truly conveyed how pleased I am with VU and their homebuying processes. Whatever that word is, I'm that!

Exceptional team! From start to finish, from pain to triumph! You all were there for the ride. The guidance and timing impeccable. We felt valued, heard, and respected every step of the way. We appreciate all the texts, call and emails answering our exhausted lists of questions. The shared frustrations at the home market in our area. Just letting us vent and refocusing us on the task. I highly recommend Veterans United, as a highly satisfied customer, and truely appreciate all you do for the Veterans community.

I thought I was driving them crazy with all the questions I had but I needed to know. And believe me me there were ALOT of questions when buying your first home.
The numbers were very confusing to me..
My team pulled me through it. Thank you Nikki and Angela and Shanellen.

Dene, my loan coordinator was absolutely sensational. While she has many clients, she made you feel like you were the only one that she was working for. She was extremely thorough on every question that I asked her, and her response was remarkable. she was the difference maker in this application process and I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her. Outstanding.

Thank you VU! I truly cannot thank you all enough. This has truly been a very pleasant experience and look forward to working with you again soon.

I could not believe how everything went so smoothly and quickly.

Great team and service.Very professional!
Thanks!

Response from Veterans United
Hi Janelle,
I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the closing costs and the delays. It's incredibly frustrating to receive different information and have your plans thrown off like that. I understand how this has caused you significant inconvenience and additional costs.
It sounds like our communication and process didn't meet your expectations, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I want to look into what happened and see how we can help. Could you please reach out to my team directly at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com? We're in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but feel free to contact us anytime.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re here to help and ensure better experiences in the future.

United Veterans are the best.

At first I was a little skeptical about going with a National lender instead of a local one, but I’m glad I did. They treat you like a hometown lender and take the time to get to know you first. The home buying process was easy using their app and all of the employees were very professional and friendly. If you are on the fence while shopping for a lender I can tell you that you can’t go wrong with Veterans United.

Veterans United was wonderful.
The only concerns we have/had are
1) The Friday before we closed (Closed at 0900 EST on Monday) I received a text at 1700 stating my wife’s employment verification needed to be completed by having her boss call a woman named Agatha. Agatha was out of the office by the time I’d received the text which then caused my wife and I to panic as to whether or not we would be able to close on time. That said, Jerry called me the next day and was able to put my mind at ease.2) To a much lesser and comical extent, the gift box for the home purchase that was intended for my wife and I only had male oriented items in it. They’re appreciated it just seemed humorous that it was intended for the two of us.

Veterans united was so professional and committed to putting me in a home, as a United States Army Veteran I really feel loved and adored by Veterans United, they are the cream of the crop as it relates to home choosing, home inspection, home loan, and finally home closing, thank you so much Veterans United.

10/10 help from everyone! Thank you!
