Bad communication and follow through.
Katy and the team were wonderful during our process of buying our home. They were very knowledge and professional. I really believe they had our best interest at heart.
the process was long but I am satisfied with the end result,
I was bummed when I found out that Veteran's United did not give me the best rates available. I got a better offer from another company and I was too far in the process to change lenders. Additionally, there were issues that occurred in the exchanges between the lender, realtor, and title company. Problems such as requests for documents that had already been sent. I also had to drop what I was doing in the middle of a business trip because the wrong paperwork was given to me to sign for closing, and I had to stop what I was doing at a clients office to handle it, which was embarrassing for me.Overall, VU got the job done, and I think VU is a good group of people, but I have a hard time recommending VU to friends and family based on the issues that I had.
