Process was drawn out and went past the closing date. When we asked why the documents weren’t ready for closing we were told it was our fault for believing the closing date
Although my experience was lacking to some extent I still managed to close and get my house. It seems over all the reviews are positive as a whole so it seems like VU does know what they're doing.

I am more than pleased with VUHL. I financed my home with them prior to this refinance. Whenever I have questions, Jon, Adam or Kyle get the answers I need as soon as possible.
The software was flawless. I'm big on good software and VU's interface was better than good....it was excellent. It made the overall process VERY painless.The only issue I had was not knowing I'd have to come up with a substantial amount of money at closing. I assume VU has financed homes in Maryland before so I'd expect to know early on that I'd have to come up with 6 months of taxes. We (myself and the VU, it seems) didn't know about this until much closer to the closing date.
