The whole process was quick and painless. I'll always come back to Veterans United for a VA loan. Any questions or needs I had were sorted and taken care of before I could even address it. They were always on top of every detail and concern I could have. To say the experience was quick and painless would be an understatement. It was fantastic, and would recommend to anyone considering a VA loan.
I have zero complaints about everyone we worked with at Veterans United. The customer service was excellent and the process was smooth. My only criticism is that it seems that you charge a flat percentage for fees rather than itemizing which would have resulted in us paying way more out of pocket in closing costs. My realtor ended up contacting our loan officer to go to bat for us to pay itemized fees rather than a flat percentage. We would not have been able to afford to buy our house if we’d had to pay the initial estimate of closing costs. I’d hate to think that other veterans are over paying if they don’t know to ask or have someone they can trust to inform them.
