The only negative was delays in closing, which almost cost us the house. All else was great. Educational information on the VA loan process was most helpful.
Loan officer was very bad with communication.
Veterans United did an outstanding job for me. I honestly didn't have to do anything. They took care of it all and kept me informed the entire way, all the way up until closing. They made it very simple and answered all my questions.
The only thing I would like changed would be the ability to break routine to get things done more quickly. My example: We were waiting on a verification of rent from my previous apartment and it was taking a long time. Long story short; VU was sending the request through equifax and the apartment didnt use that, so my process was held up until I contacted both parties and resolved the issue myself. I would have liked VU to get in contact with the apartments and take care of it when they saw their request being ignored on equifax.
Craig and Christi were very helpful through the entire process! Their service was outstanding!!
Although there were a lot of documents I needed to provide it was overall a favorable experience and I would recommend VU to anyone looking for a VA loan.
We had a few issues and closing was delayed. But we got it done and got the key last Saturday.
