While our loan officer was away, We had wanted to lock in our loan. We had discussed this before his brief leave of absence. The man that called, Doug, was not as positive or helpful as our loan specialist Brennan had been. During that brief phone call we had even considered going through another lender. However we waited until Brennan returned in order to lock in our loan. Jennifer Sims was very punctual with emails and was very great to work with as well.
I was provided a lot of information up front on the process. My veterans united made it very easy to review and upload documents.

My loan officer was great ! His assistant was poor at returning turning calls. Cara was lacking in the checking work before submitting it to the underwriters causing undo need to repeat work at the very last minute. She often did not have answers to simple questions. I would not recommend anyone to work with her. I feel like she must be brand new and not trained well. The next loan or refinance I will use a local bank to have better contact times and people who understand California process. Working with a company not on the same time zone was very challenging.
Everyone that I dealt with was extremely helpful and ready to answer all of my questions. Even when we had to get transferred from Derek, to Chris, they took extremely good care of us and made it a seamless and painless experience
