Overall, great experience working with Denny and the whole crew at Veterans United. The only caveat was the handling of the close of escrow. We signed the final paperwork on a Thursday and escrow was suppose to close on a Monday. Not sure who dropped the ball, but they waited to the last minute to re-verify my employment on the week of Thanksgiving. My HR department was having their holiday lunch and was unavailable for a couple of hours. The closing of escrow had to be delayed for an extra day until someone at Veterans United could contact my HR department. Seeing how important it is to re-verify a borrower's employment, especially during the holidays, it should have been handled with a little more lead time. A sour finale to an overall great experience.

I wasn't informed of my escrow account having to be taken off of my principal concerning my Refinance VA loan. During the complete process I expressed I didn't want to complete our process without my refund of my Property Tax escrow for 2016 as described in my VA 100% disability, I feel that Mile Lyman wasn't informed enough, considering he had to my numerous inquires for information as requested. I'm totally dissatisfied with his professionalism.
