We waited for at least 5 years to be in a position to buy our first home together. We were nervous, but Nick and the team explained everything along the way and it was a surprisingly smooth, quick process to get us into our home. We are so excited.
Anna Denietolis was personnal and accommodating. She understood my needs and went above and beyond in order to close the deal. She was Awesome!
My experience with Eric was great. I told him what I wanted to do and he did the rest from that point. He didn't call me everyday and harass about things. overall great experience with the company and Eric. One negative I have is right after the closing I was then informed my loan might be sold to wells Fargo or chase. That actually is pretty upsetting to me. I do not want wells Fargo to take control of my loan. I don't trust that company and already have negative history with them. I have not been a customer of there's for a reason, they took my student loans and really fouled them up. My displeasure with that company would have actually steered me away from your company if I knew that's what you were going to do with it.
Basically, we only continued with VU because of our desired timeline and other plans we had made for moving our stuff. Had we had more time and fewer schedule constraints we definitely would have sought financing elsewhere. We both felt as time went on that both Collin & Lauren were not very helpful, not very responsive & not completely forthright with paperwork/documentation that was needed.

Great Experience overall. Set a date and almost made it. One day off was not a big deal to me! Darin kept me in the loop at all times!
The enterprise Al office is amazing everyone working there was polite and respectful. Great bussiness and exceptionally friendly.
This was my second time utilizing my VA loan benefits and working with Anne Kuster. She is an excellent loan officer and very good at what she does. Both times I've gone through Veterans United when buying a home were positive experiences.
Members of Collin's team (Lauren and Lindsey) need to get their _____ (ducks) in a row. They waited until the 11th hour to request information, therefore my closing was delayed (I requested a certain date for a reason). This was unacceptable to me but unfortunately, there wasn't anything I could do about it. They also stated that requests were made but didn't receive any reply. As the person whom all requests come through at my job, I knew this to be incorrect. They were trying to cover their butts in my opinion.
As my brother is also closing on a home with Collin, he is aware of the problem with Lauren and Lindsey and will be heading off the situation ahead of time. Collin needs a new team or train the one he has.
Paperwork should be completed and ready to go at a min of two days prior to the requested closing date. There was no reason I couldn't have had my closing date if someone hadn't been sitting on their ass instead of following up the day before.
Thank you all for taking such good care of us with the purchase of our home.
We feel fortunate to have had this experience. We got a lot more than we ever expected and feel great about getting our loan. Mr. Wessel and everyone in your organization we have communicated with has been patient with us and gave us a better understanding of the whole process.
What a great company and great experience. Scott Ratliff and Kelly Taber made everything so easy to do. They both were very knowledgeable and quick responses to emails and phone calls. I would recommend them to all my friends looking into buying a house. Thank you guys for making this a painless process.
Team worked real well with us to get our loan completed.
I would recommend veterans united to any veteran trying to purchase a home.
It has been our great pleasure working with the entire Veteran’s United team!
We especially appreciated Tommy Purk's open/upfront communications and timely responses that the team provided throughout the entire process.
Best regards and thank you doesn’t seem adequate to express our sincere appreciation so I hope you know how grateful we truly are for the VU assistance in helping us obtain our dream home in Farmington, New Mexico.
We would highly recommend VU team to anyone seeking a VA insured loan.
We choose not to use the VU referred Real Estate Agent due to lack of professionalism. We recommend our agent Eva Armenta be considered as a candidate for your referral agent program.
Everything was finalized on a timely manner just as Kevin had explained to us it would. We'll satisfied.
OVERALL A VERY SATISFYING EXPERIENCE AND WELL WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT!!!!
If I had to come up with one negative facet, it would be that on signing the papers, we we did not feel we should be paying for the lenders title insurance. It certainly was a reasonable figure, but we both felt it should have been paid for by the lender.
Could not have went thru this transaction without her.super rep
Sam Yoo and Kendall Eckles were wonderful. They both were extremely attentive and responsive. They made this entire process pleasant and we appreciate their help. I'm not sure if other mortgage lenders' business model is the same as Veterans United but your process should be a model for those that don't utilize the same process. Great job!
