Several delays put our Refi Closing well past the Dec 30, 2016, balloon payment deadline. We started the process in April of 2016, & in earnest, Oct 2016. The penalty for missing the balloon was $27,000, creating immeasurable stress! The Estate holding the escrow was willing to waive the fine, despite the delay.

Stefanie was over-the-top attentive throughout our whole home buying process. She made herself available to answer any questions and was always warm and patient when explaining new information. Stefanie and the rest of the team were also extremely timely. We got our clear-to-close and all of our other paperwork turned around in record time. Overall, we genuinely felt that VA United cared about us as humans from beginning to end, and we are really happy with the terms of our loan and our new home.
