We just completed a VA loan assumption, and the experience with Veterans United was great! This was a first time experience with an assumption loan, and it seemed that no one, real estate agents, local title company, escrow etc. had any experience or knowledge of the process. We heard stories of the process taking months and then only to be rejected. Veterans United (Angela Hake and Nick) got us through escrow in 21 days! If you are ready to buy, have your finances in order, and prepared to provide all the required documentation, Veterans United obviously has the means and abilities to complete the assumption process.This is the way to go if you want a 2021 mortgage rate vs. a 2024 rate. Over the life of our mortgage we will save over $350,000 in mortgage interest fees.
