Our initial contact was very good. Great customer service as we initiated our application. From there it steadily went downhill. We initially felt part of a team or maybe part of a family... we worked hard to get information and supporting documentation turned around, scanned, & emailed, same day for the most part. Once our package was pulled together, that's when the transition from "part of a team" to part of a process began to happen. By the end, we were a closing... a number. There were some hiccups at closing and with our final payment amount that required us (my wife, myself, my realtor, and the title company) to make calls & send emails to ask questions about. As things were changing (and as there were issues with the final payments... or computer issues at VU... we should have been proactively contacted so we weren't blindsided.
Smooth process, everything I was told went as planned
My email address changed because of our move. Veterans United did not update my email until the very end of the process, after repeated reminders. My wife was constantly forwarding me emails regarding our loan. I can only suggest to promptly update contact info.We had a very good experience with Kelly. Thank you.
The process was pretty easy . I especially like the digital signatures used on the closing papers .
The Veterans United team was exactly that, a team. They worked and communicated with each other effectively, quickly and always clear and concise when answering my questions. They provided and explained the information I asked for quickly and thoroughly. Their service went above and beyond, and far exceeded my expectations.
