Towards closing our loan team was extremely hard to get into contact with. Closing was delayed slightly due to an "IT glitch". Problems happen and we understand that. What we don't understand is why we were never given updates until the final hours. Calls and emails were ignored by the loan team for not just us, but our realtor and even the real estate attorney. All we wanted was a simple "we are still working on it" or something but all we had was unneeded stress added to an already stressful situation. In the end, I would've rated VU much higher regardless of the delay in closing if they had kept in better communication with everyone involved.

Super easy to work with, this is my second experience going through Veterans United.
Katy Reeder is a phenomenal loan officer! She kept us informed throughout the entire process, quickly returned emails or phone calls and kept the ball moving forward so we could close quickly! She was always courteous and respectful. This was our second closing experience and it was a much better one thanks to VU and the exceptional staff!
