Our loan was very complex. The closing was pushed back a few times. I know that this was a tough loan to get closed but communication is the key. I felt like I had to do a lot of the back and forth between the realtor, insurance and closing agency that could have been done by the MLO. Also, there was info that was not communicated properly which delayed the process. Other than communication issues, the company got through the hard work and I would say overall a decent job.
The whole team really pulled through when we had a delay due to the appraisal and got our closing done in 4 business days after receiving the appraisal even with a sales price change and a required change to the real estate documents (middle names). Contact was maintained with both myself and our realtor through the entire last 4 days and we got it done against all odds.
My second mortgage experience was much better.
