Although Daniel kept me abreast of everything,I recommend prioritizing needed documents at the beginning of the process and not ask for documents more than once. This process was stressful, long, and an emotional rollercoaster. It took over 2 months to close and I've spoke with a couple of folks who recently either bought or sold property using a VA representative; neither took over 6 weeks from start to finish. I am grateful to have been able to purchase the home I wanted and I than you all that made this happen.
VU did really swell!
A great experience!
Kalo went out of her way to find find somebody to come out and do our home inspection pretty much on a Moments notice which I've heard nothing but horror stories about that part of getting a VA loan also the home inspection was actually really really not that hard to get done and everything that the inspector pointed out was easy to fix and it was literally took the homeowners like a week to get everything fixed so that we could get in our new home, I've heard nothing but horror stories about that aspect of VA loans also The paperwork was not at all that hard to sign is about as much paperwork as he would sign for buying a new car the only thing I seen that was mildly be a pain in the butt with the VA was the back-and-forth but you know with any big amount of money you're dealing with are going to be doing a whole lot of back-and-forth
Derrek and Krista made the whole ordeal very manageable and easy to do. Even with the circumstances that my wife and I had. Always professional
Closing date kept moving back as under writers were never satisfied but everyone else was ok.
The only possible complaint is sometimes it felt like there were too many hands in the proverbial cookie jar
The communication between Joe and Jesse were exceptional. I always felt informed and they made it easy to talk about best options to reach home buying goals.
First loan officer we had wasn't a good fit. He was condescending and terse with my wife. Second team we had was much better but they didn't seem to know what was going on some of the time.
Carl Thomas and Nick Herman was always there to help me through the whole process. They stayed in contact with me all the time. They always made sure everyone was on there game. They always expected a 100% from everyone
Working with Brandon and his team has been a great experience, it was a pleasure working with him and his team.
Taylor was amazing and always answer my questions in a timely manner!
I sent my marriage certificate prior to refinancing the house. None of the paperwork had my wife's name it. We had reprint about 20 sheets. This was an inconvenience when you don't the legal paper for reprinting the documents and I had initial other forms that I signed an initialed before. I had to initial in places that said I'm married. Why did I sign documents saying I was married?
Everyone was so helpful answer my questions right away.
Chris S. was great!
The process from initial contact to closing is very good for the buyer.
due to our personal circumstances it proved to be much more difficult than it really should have been. Not having a realtor or lawyer made it a much more personal experience than when we bought our home with a vha loan. due to a relocation and change of department of the government made it more complicated than it needed to be. Having to prove you work at a place that you have already sent W2's, tax records ect seems a bit odd.
