The process with VU started very positive and easy. No issues until the day before closing and having already closed on my house that I sold. Also, many people involved in this process outside of VU, to include myself, had extreme difficulty contacting personnel. I think the company is overwhelmed and may need to look at process.
VU absolutely got me through this process, easily, quickly, and ALL of the various departments that handled the loan process were very, very professional and knowledgeable, making me their first priority. .

Loan officer Christopher Stiefferman made this entire process a nightmare. Disrespectful, lying and unprofessional. From the beginning to the end. I asked for papers to be reissued because the information was not correct, never happened. No instead, he told the SELLING AGENT that we couldn't close on time because I didn't sign the papers. I would have immediatly if they weren't incorrect. He also told MY real estate agent that I am having wrong expectations and over dramatizing everything. He didn't check on required documents correct, which caused problems later on. Every time I contacted him with questions, he responded in a very rude and unprofessional attitude. He didn't inform 3rd parties when it came to a delay in closing and also gave out information he was not suppose to. My Realtor, the Seller, the Seller Agency as well as myself will NEVER work with VETRANS United again.
