The process took 2 weeks to long. They ask me for paperwork and I gave them what they needed. Every other day there was something new that was needed. Instead of asking me for everything up front, it was a drawn out terrible process.
Everyone we worked with to obtain a loan to purchase our new home was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and aware of who we were and where we were in the process. It was so good to be able to call them knowing we would speak with someone on the other end who took ownership of our case and greeted us like we had value.
Working with heather and sheralon made the process simple and painless. You always hear people saying buying a house is difficult but my experience was outstanding.

Allison Basnett was wonderful. However, the underwriting process was beyond horrible. Changing our closing date twice for documents the underwriter already had was not acceptable. If it wasn't for me taking action and requesting a manager, we would have extended the closing date a 3rd time. Once the underwriter finally approved our loan, Allison took over and was a real gem. She is the only reason we stuck with Veterans United.
