I had a good experience until it came time to close. I was not told until after my first closing date that I was not approved for my loan ($160,000) by the underwriter when I was already pre-approved for a $175,000 loan. This also delayed closing.
The staff at Veterans United Home Loans in Clarksville TN is simply the best! Every single person in that office has an amazing personality and cares so much about their customer. Amanda, Melissa Storey and Robert are my heroes ..
Receiving paperwork was very fast, very informative, and easily managed with return envelopes. Any and all questions that arouse were addressed and answered immediately. Could not be more happy or more satisfied with veterans United.

Began pleasant - minor hiccups. Turned poor at closing. Despite my efforts to be proactive, staff generally reactive. Worst part - closing specialist changed loan (costs) night before closing without attempting to notify me - totally confusing.
I appreciate everything that was done on my behalf. However, I found it very stressful to be told everything was okay and looking good only to be told that more information was required.
The process was clear and well executed.
