The only concern that we had was during the closing we ended up missing the first to closing date in which set us back as far as moving,deliveries, that we had scheduled utility transfers and time off that we had planned from work to be ready to move .that didn't work out so then we had to rush and reschedule almost everything.other than that Great Job

If I had to make any suggestion or call it a complaint.
I think being out of state may have delayed the process.
We first applied in july 2014 and closed in Jan 2015.
I understand the VA was a large part of the delay. I think knowing how each states VA operates would be a great asset and would speed up the process.
And, in the beginning of the process when gathering all the forms for financials and such, put together a complete list. We would submit forms and get follow up email asking for additional info. It would be easier to gather everything t one time.

I will definitely mention and recommend VU to any of my friends looking to use their veterans benefits to purchase a home.

It took to many days (2 Months) to complete the buying. I'm glad we have our house, and i appreciate what they did, but it did not have to take that long. The closing was unexceptable because it too long so long.
