everyone I delt with including Jill Lawry were exceptional
Sam Yoo and everyone else that I worked with there at VU was very friendly and positive. Early in the pre-qualification process Sam Yoo had a loss in his family. He still made the time to call me back, to return my call that I had placed (after hours). A majority of people would have waited until the next business day to return my call, however, Sam took the time to help me finalize my pre qualification and issue a letter which enabled me to place an offer on the home that we recently purchased. A Big Thank You to Sam for his professionalism and selfless service!
The best at what she does. Very knowledgeable and helpful with the process and va expectations
I have a picture with Chris and Rylan upon closing our last 2 places on Oahu but now I'm compelled to buy another place and my one request would be to have both Rylan and Chris at my signing on the third go around so I can get a pictire with both. They are assets to your organization and they work very hard tp make it happen.
Good job guys again!!!

All information needs to be shared, if another specialist is taking over for whatever reason, so they will be up to date on how far things have gone and what needs to be finished without interruption in the process. Sometimes it seemed that things were left unsaid to each other. Since I do not know how the office is ran, I cannot say for sure what is in the file for information when things get handed off. Just better communication among each other.
Two things I would leave as improvements for Veteran's United would be to be more attentive to details like addresses in forms. There was a delay in getting a form from the IRS due to simple spelling errors and time was a big factor for this loan. As a customer I understand mistakes happen but simple typing errors should not be one of them. The other improve would be to be up front about meeting deadlines. My realtor and I found out too late in the week that the original closing date would not be able to happen. I applaud Shannon for doing his best to make it happen but I would have appreciated it more if we had at least gotten a heads up earlier in the week instead of only two days prior to closing. Please don't quote me on the time frame but I did hear about issues getting the tax review from the IRS earlier but was not given impression that it would interfere with the closing date. It made me feel that I was not doing enough to check in on the loan process and should have called every few days to check on status. Overall, the experience was good as a first time home buyer. I felt they tried to help me and teach me legitimate points about home buying and given the time crunch I was under they did well. I would prefer more honest assessments.
Diane my realtor was phenomenal. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone. She was outstanding before and after the purchase process.
While Mike Villano, the loan officer, helped a great deal, the transactions coordinator, Angela Crozier, was of great assistance as well ensuring every aspect of the necessary documents and details were covered quickly and made sure bases were covered to avoid any last minute complications.
great staff, positive attitude, real easy to work with, thank you for all your help
The excessive back and forth on paperwork and closing criteria from the underwriters was extremely annoying and the only thing holding me back from a better overall higher rating
Matt was very helpful, and the experience was wonderful.
Barby is tremendous. I don't know what internal accolades she can receive but I have never experienced customer service like this. She was amazing and I hope all customers and vets get treated Similarly.
