When I first started the home searching process I met with a random realtor to look at a property and when I said I was pre-approved with Veterans United she replied to not go through with it because she had heard bad things as well as she had clients that a loan through VU fell through at the last minute.
I am SO glad that I did NOT listen to that person because I had nothing but the opposite and I had the BEST experience ever! I am a first time home buyer, so this process was nerve wracking for me and everyone knew and understood and everyone made sure this was a stress free process for me! Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). I just figured that everything was gonna be a lot harder than it was. We had a few hurdles that we were up against and it didn’t seem to take long at all to overcome them.
