Terrible experience. I was taken advantage of with the amount of charges being applied to my loan. I was told they were "just normal" and that all their loans look like this. I spoke with my local Veterans United branch and they told me they have a flat origination fee which was 5x less than what I was being charged. When my agent chimed into the conversation, Albert told him to use his agent credits to cover my end. I called to speak with the branch manager and the guy was arrogant and inconsiderate. Albert told me the night before he would speak with his manager, so when I got on the call with the manager, I asked if he spoke to Albert which he told me he had. I then asked what he thought of the situation and he said that he hadn't spoken to him about my situation but had spoken to Albert. He was obviously playing games from the start and it was unprofessional if not a handful of other things. I will be telling anyone who will listen not to use this company. The entire situation was a nightmare.
Overall experience was fantastic and stress-free. Every person on my loan team was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The online tools are top notch. 5 stars 🌟. I would persuade anyone to use Veterans United.
Scott answered every question I had. When I asked for a call back, I received one. When I asked Scott to go over the closing costs with me, he answered every question I had. he took his time and broke it down, so I understood. The entire team did an amazing job.
The Veterans United team was phenomenal every step of the way. Between the easy to understand app that kept me on track for the items that I needed to do or review, and constant communication that assisted in ensuring the entire team and I were on the same page throughout the process.
