I thought Veterans United sounded like a scam when we saw advertisements on Zillow. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was skeptical but they were great from the begginning to the end.
I didn't really care for Matt Haddix. When we got to the underwriting stage, he was okay at 1st then his performance dropped off significantly when I was providing clarity on finding an HR representative to get him the information he needed. He waited till the end of week usually get in back to me with updates. Then I was switched to Walter at the end, who was very good with his performance to finish out this process. Everyone else did amazing. Matt's interaction or "lack of"was a significant factor in me not having a 10 out-of 10 experience.
Aaron Brooks and the entire VU team were absolutely amazing! They worked diligently to make sure we were taken care of. Everyone was extremely attentive and made sure boxes were being checked off and that everything was in order! I’m super grateful to have worked with such a great team and cannot thank VU enough for helping us achieve our goals! We are so excited to move into our home and it’s all thanks to our VU team!
Keep up the good work and continue to help other veterns!

As a first time home buyer you can not get any better than Kristin to lead you in the right direction and Lyndsey as well! There professionalism is like no other. The lady that came to our house for us to sign closing papers had appointment set for 1 pm. She called to change appointment to 2:30pm. She did show at 2:30pm but she had some papers that needed to be reprinted and had to go home to reprint. This took another 45 minutes. I would not use this lady again.

Overall, this was an amazing experience from day one. The level of communication and interaction really made this process a lot less stressful. The Veterans United app made the process smooth and convenient with straightforward "to do" checklist and digital signatures. Next time we are buying a home for our next PCS, we will be using Veterans United.
