Though there was some problems at the end. We took them in hand and worked them out to get the financing finalized. Again I would recommended Veterans Home Loans to any veteran needing financial assistance.

I contacted Veterans United Home Loans after we had almost purchased a home FHA that had a $150 monthly PMI, and out of frustration I looked for a better solution to our home buying need. The FHA people never told me that I could qualify for any kind of VA Home Loan, and said that my wife could not even be on the loan. I never thought that I would be able to use my VA home loan benefits again, but just one phone call conversation with Mr. McDaniel reassured me that I would be able to qualify for a VA Home loan. Not only Matt McDaniel but the team also did a great job of walking us through the loan process and providing everything that we needed to come to closing on our new home. We are very happy with the service provided by VUHL, the down payment money we saved by going this way instead of the FHA, and the fact that we don't have to pay a monthly PMI !

Most communication was done via email which is fine but my emails on many occasions were not completely answered for example if there was 3 questions only one would get answered. Many times I was asked for the same information more than once.

The process was very easy to be initiated. Our closing date was slipped due to the paperwork not being ready but I am not sure if it was on the seller's end or something with Veterans' United. It was also slipped by a few hours on the actual closing day and I was told it was due to awaiting the paperwork from Veteran's United.

Veterans United surpassed all our expectations on obtaining a mortgage. Both Ted Richardson and Caleb Bales talked with my wife more than me and they were professional, knowledgable, courteous, personable, and talked her out of many moments of stress. Also, you referred us to an excellent real estate agent, Betsy Breton. She "bent over backwards" for us and always had a smile and was happy to see us. At closing, she told us that 90% of her clients are VA and that most of them use VU. It is our hope that you do not sell our mortgage. Thank you Veterans United. This is truly a great company with great people.

this experience was the worst I have evr had , it started off good and turned into a nightmare, I kept asking what all needed to be done , got not responce , two days before closing i was told the house that i was purchasing needed a water test and a septic test. Now i had been asking what needs to be done , well of course closing was put off over a month cause of septic and water tests that take longer then two days to get back, . There was alot of paper work that just disappeared off of Anne"s desk several times , and then tried to blame the agent on the other end saying she did not receive.
The overall experience was not a good one for me , and i will not recommond your service to anyone, what should have been very simple and a little time , turned into a nightmare.
