Zach and the entire Ceterans United team made my first home buying experience SO incredibly easy. Being in Hawaii we worked off of a 6 hour time difference from Georgia which ordinarily would complicate things but the entire VU team made an outstanding effort to make things as easy as possible. They answered or returned all of our phone calls in a very timely manner, explained everything easily and made the whole experience dummy proof! I will DEFINITELY be using Zach and his team again when I buy my next house in a few years!

Y'all we're/are horrible and I will never again work with VU or recommend you to any of my numerous active duty or veteran friends. Why? probably the biggest thing that frustrated me with VU was the sheer amount of extra work/gathering of asanine documents that didn't matter - it felt like there was a lot of busy work with things that didn't or shouldn't have any actual bearing on underwriting/the loan process and it was quite annoying. That, and the fact that I had to frequently look at/sign the same documents more than once.As a reference, my first VA loan required less than a third of the work than what I had to do with Veterans United. I was surprised at how simple and easy it was buying a house the first time, but was in for a rude awakening the second time around with VU. In a busy season where I'm juggling essentially two jobs at once while managing a household all while not having outside communication during working hours due to the nature of my job, the extra silliness that Veterans United made me do was quite irritating. As I understand, VU is working with a new underwriting team, or something like that, but they seriously need to get it together because I was tempted several times to simply drop Veterans United and start fresh, doing a VA or conventional loan with another company that didn't have nearly as much useless bureaucracy. I don't think you, or Melissa were the problem, it was simply how VU does business in general.I know I was able to get a decent rate through VU (at a $12.5k cost that would have likely been waivable in 2-3 weeks when I get my disability rating), but it was NOT worth the extra headache.Vanessa was great to work with, but she was working for a deeply flawed company. I cannot in good conscience recommend VU to anyone. Horrible company. Stay away.

The whole team created a timeline that worked well for me and them. It allowed the process to flow on time and without any issues. Being unfamiliar with the home buying process, I couldn't have asked for a smoother home purchase!
Nick was awesome! Steve was Awesome! Trenton was awesome! Everyone assisting them was awesome, too! The process was smooth, and surprisingly easier than I could have imagined, because of THEM! I am so grateful and I will refer them to everyone I know!

Very easy home buying process. From start to finish I never felt alone.
The entire team was wonderful. They were in constant contact with us every step of the way. We did most of our loan from Guam as we were in the middle of our PCS and no matter what they always responded and were accommodating of our time difference and schedule. This team made the whole process a breeze.
