This whole, entire process took 3 weeks and 2 days. From the time i first looked at the place to the time I took possession. I absolutely could not have done it without Nate being there whenever I had a question.
Veterans United made the journey of buying my first home as effortless and smooth as borrowing 200k+ from a lender can be. They handled all the hard stuff and broke my tasks down to be more manageable and understandable. They are highly tentative, and never leave you out too dry. In sort of a sense it is easy to feel alone in a process like that, but with Veterans United I felt like a team of people that cared about me was standing right behind me walking me through the storm. This was my first home buying process. Veterans United and the team that assisted me held my hand and answered even my simplest of questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Our loan team was wonderful. They really pushed to get us a smooth and quick closing. During this process I lost a family member they were kind enough to send a condolence gift which meant a lot to me. They also referred me to a wonderful realtor to help sell my house before we purchased our new home.
The lender I had was Craig he was great walked me through everything that I needed to do. My advice to anyone looking to get a VA loan if you feel that you qualify to give them a call.

If you aren’t sure which company to get a VA loan through, Veterans United is DEFINITELY the one! My pre approval was done same day and we closed on time. They really treat you like family during and after you buy your home. I’ve used them twice and their commitment to making the home buying process as easy as possible blew me away both times!

Veteran's United is the best! This started out as a dream that we thought would take at least the better part of 1-2 years. From the minute we "clicked the link", someone was there to help guide us through. From the credit department helping us to get our credit in line, to the loan team helping us with all of our questions and concerns, (and there were A LOT) and even working with us for a couple month break so we could get married! I would choose Veterans United to buy a house because I had a very good experience with my loan officer and real estate agent. They both helped me even despite me being in different state.
