I am very satisfied with my experience with Veterans United Home loans. From beginning to end the members of Veterans United involved with my loan application stay in touch with me. Thanks to their assistance and easy things to do now my wife and myself are very happy home owners. Thank you!
In the very beginning our loan team was excellent. They were great with communication and on top of everything. Then we got an accepted offer. This is where they shit the bed. We barley heard from Josh. We barley heard from our loan team as a whole. We had to rely on our realtor Maureen who was FANTASTIC! She was the one who got us all of our information.
Josh our loan officer and as well as our loan coordinator Ofelia did not communicate with us and if they did it was because we blew up Josh's phone. They wouldn't update our to do list all week untill 5pm on a Friday night. Our bank accounts were connected for weeks before we were told that there was an IT error and they never really were connected. They had the wrong email on file even though they were emailing my correct email. When it came time to get employment verification for my wife they didn't tell us they sent it to her employer. Our realtor told us they were waiting for the verification. We then reached out to my wife's employer only to be told they never received the verification from veterans United. So again, we had to chase our employers and our loan team to get the information we needed in order to close on time. We were then told less than 24 hours before our close date that we would not be closing till the following Monday because Josh and our loan team did not send us our disclosure 3 days before our close date. I was contacted by a client advocate with veterans United and told that our loan team did not do their jobs and that because of someone's vacation that we were basically forgotten about. When I go on vacation for my job someone is expected to take care of my work but that is not the case with veterans United. They just don't do the work .
If it wasn't for my wife, myself and our realtor we may not have even gotten our home.
We will never use veterans United again.

Veteran's United really brought my dream to light. I thought it wasn't possible for me to purchases a home and with their help I was able too. If you think it isn't possible it is and you should talk to the great people at Veteran's United, see what they can do for you.
I will recommend to my friends and family. Overall, a pretty stress-free experience.

The underwriter interrogation of where the funds for closing came from was rather tedious and somewhat insulting. I must not understand the scope of money laundering schemes in existence but it was rather ridiculous.
Veterans United Home Loans was a great company to work with. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we understood what was happening at every step of the way. Couldn't have found a better group to work with. I would recomend them to anyone thinking of purchasing. Thank you everyone!!!
