Went above and beyond in a short time fram got me into my house before my anniversary so im very pleased

Great work team! Definitely will use you again and recommend you to others

Tim and Dennis were very responsive, knowledgeable, and quick to resolve any questions or discrepancies throughout the entire home-buying process. I have used Veterans United on two separate occasions and both times were great experiences. 100% recommended!

Only comment to help others is to keep in touch with one another to avoid duplication of efforts on your team.

If this was my first experience with Veteran's United, I don't know if I would have wanted to use them again and it had absolutely nothing to do with the company. We had such a great experience the first time around that we really saw and learned how the company works, and how everyone strives to help customers find what they need.We still received that excellent service from Veteran's United this time around, but there were so many things out of their control that had I not known better it would have made me go an entirely different route. The title company was polite on the phone, but dropped the ball multiple times when it comes to customer service in their emails and with relaying information/canceled appointments that affect other individuals. I could have done without the passive aggressive "per my last email" and "I thought we had moved past this" childishness. We told her multiple times the date, time, and location for the notary due to my work schedule and not once threw it in her face that she was asking the same questions that we gave her info on, but would be very quick to CC others and throw it in their face that they were asking about something she felt was already addressed. I'm not big on passive aggressive. Either be nice and professional, or actually be aggressive and it'll get handled, because the passive aggressiveness was childish. The notary didn't show up at the apnt and when we called her they said they never received the documents to sign, that her company had been calling and calling, and that she assumed we already knew. The title company was really quick to blame Veteran's United for the missed apnt and didn't take accountability for the fact that they already knew something was missing, and that the apnt wasn't even going to be kept that morning. That was incredibly frustrating because I already rearranged my work for the morning to accommodate for the apnt. I had another provider able to come in if the signing took longer, which wasted her time. I get it, stuff happens and we're all human. Some appointments are going to be late or pushed back because stuff happens.A different notary was scheduled for the following morning and it was a complete train wreck. A signature was missed, which happens. She came back and it was like a totally different woman was there. I was notified by the title company that the documents were going to be sent FedEx back to the title company. Her company wanted her to use a scanning app instead. Her camera/app on her phone didn't work for the first 45min to an hour, then her phone died once she started being able to scan and send pictures, then she reached back out after she left and said she forgot to get our IDs. I get it, I promise you I do. I know stuff happens. This woman had the weight of the world on her shoulders and she was clearly struggling and having an awful day. At the end of the day, what needed to be done got done. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but it's done and that's what. The notary was polite to us, and my heart goes out to her because I know she had a lot going on that day.
It was Murphy's Law. I'm sure there are typos and whatnot from this novel I wrote, but it is what it is. That's probably a better description of our experience. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either and it is what it is. I'm sure next time, if there is a next time, that's it'll be a phenomenal experience.

At first I didn't believe the hype, but Veterans United really rallies behind veterans and takes care of their home buying needs and with a little extra ie; housewarming gifts like a flag stand coffee mugs and cooler!!!!

Experience first-hand why 352,715 homeowners give us a perfect score!
Veterans United made everything a lot easier for me to navigate the process. Shane made the loan process to fit me and my circumstances. He made it work!!!!

I was pretty impressed with the flow of all things involved. The portal was easy to navigate and made things much much easier. Keep up the good work. All of the people involved in your company, kind, courteous, and respectful. One last item, I would call and speak with previous borrowers of both sexes that have had Forrest as a realtor. It doesn’t shed very good light on you having referred him to me or anyone else

John Sullivan's loan team -Ashley, Benita, and Lauren seamlessly took us to the finish line! They ran a very transparent process, addressed questions and concerns that I had -critical things that I truly value as a new home owner. Thank you, team.

My wife reached out to you on a whim back in December of last year. I never dreamed that a short 5 months later we would have closed on our dream home/property! This process was so smooth! Everyone involved seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. Most of the time I felt as though we must be your only clients. Very personal service! We are so grateful and happy! Thank you so much!

After consulting with an associate who is a master electrician who owns his own electrical business, the estimate for me to bring the electrical up to code will be at least $7000 and could run to over $10,000 if they encounter more issues. He stated that rightfully the electrical company could pull the meter until repairs are made.
Realtor was made aware of trash and debris issues after my first viewing of the property on 5 April, but sellers were unaware of it until day before closing.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Clayton, we understand that this is a stressful situation and if there was anything we could do to help in another way we would be happy to do so. With the paperwork that we have on file there is nothing to indicate anything is wrong with the home. We rely on all other parties when completing the inspection/appraisal aspect of the transaction. You are at liberty to choose the property you want to purchase with your real estate agent and then we order an appraisal to make sure the home is valued at the purchase price at minimum. We also receive title work to make sure there are no other liens against you or the property and that it can be insured against at least the price to rebuild. We are happy to help try and point you in the right direction if possible. Please let me know if I can help in any other way.
