Exceptional Team. You will find no other with their expertise, their drive, and lastly their commitment. This team is “ONE OF A KIND”, and i look forwarded to referring my friends and family your way. Thank you for my forever home!

The Loan process was quick, easy and efficient. Everyone involved in the process were exceptionally polite and professional.

We were so hopeful to get our first home. Our Veterans United team and our wonderful real estate agent kept us on track and updated throughout the process. We definately recommend working with them for your next home buying experience!

Best team.

First off although I am a Veteran with almost 10 years service, I went conventional for some simple reasons. I’m not sure if that made a difference but my experience was terrible.Started off saying we could be able to waive appraisal. Then transferred to different individual to continue after a credit check only to be told days later that not a possibility. Downhill from there… Appraisal was a mess with a rush and they didn’t even seem to care when the date for completion was more than two weeks after my purchase contract deadline. They should’ve kicked it back so others could bid. Oh well, that got taken care of with a little magic on my part otherwise I don’t think we would’ve stood a chance. Then there was a encroachment survey that Veterans United said was because of the title company but, the title company said it was because Veterans United. I really don’t know now but it was $550. and one more thing to do even though there was a good survey and property had PINs still on ground which matched gps. With all this, my wife was starting a new job and they kept asking for paystubs that didn’t exist, they added more and more to-do’s and even with responses they would just ask again without clarification or even rephrasing…the day before we were suppose to close they added 13 things and then asked about the private road maintenance. A few heated discussions and research the just told me to fill out a statement holding them not liable for any issues associated with the private road and I said I would accept responsibility until I had time to get to know my NEW neighbors and not knock on doors in a panic to force them to agree to something that takes sometimes years to work out. Ridiculous expectation, make purchasers public enemy #1 before he even moves there. Oh, well I wrote my statements making sure it stated they are not liable as a result of this purchase. We then went to sign on the 5th day after original contract date which is the absolute last resort before the contract must be amended giving the seller an out and loosing not only your dream house but quite a sum of money too. The while signing the title agent pulls out a “road maintenance agreement” with me as the sole person responsible for the entire rd, not just from then end of county maintenance which happens to be about 200 feet down the road, and it doesn’t stop at my driveway as I submitted, it goes the whole way, another half mile to someone else’s house. What a trap! I also stayed till at which time neighbors form a new agreement and it gets recorded as appropriate. They put forever to be passed down through all future owners. That was a low down dirty move and I absolutely wish I had the patience to form a lawsuit them to correct this garbage. I would never in a millions years recommend Veterans United Home Loans for anyone after my experience. I wish anyone that endorsed them would talk to me first.Very unsatisfied and disappointed!!!!!

Hello Brandon, we appreciate your feedback on this matter. We wanted to take a moment to follow up on your comments. Our team will be researching your appraisal process to determine what our team may do in the future to help prevent a similar closing delay. The appraisal process is managed directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs. We understand the stress involved when an unexpected complication delays a home closing. While there are aspects of the loan process that can only take place once all conditions have been satisfied; it is important that we take all feedback into account and look for ways to promote an excellent customer experience. As we have previously discussed, the VA appraiser is not selected by Veterans United but rather is handled directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs. While we do not take responsibility for third party actions, it was beneficial to explore this topic further with you. Your comments have and will continue to help us consider ways to influence third parties and help them improve communication with one another. Providing clear and effective communication is a top priority, and a member of our Client Advocate team is available to discuss your experience in greater detail. We are dedicated to making clear requests and assisting customers in providing documentation that is necessary for loan approval.

Veterans United made it easy and special from preapproval to closing day. Tell Rob Riggle I'm ready for my commercial!

If you are a first time buyer make sure you do your homework before searching for a home so you are not clueless like I was. Veterans united helped so much but at times it was tough because I had to always depend on them since I had absolutely no knowledge of what I was getting myself into.

Fantastic experience. The VU team made the entire home buying process a pleasure. They stayed in contact with us and our real estate agent and answered all our questions. I highly recommend Veterans United.

I couldn’t have asked for an easier home buying process! I’m so grateful for Veterans United.

I would recommend VU to anyone, especially if they are first timers. VU held our hand all the way through the process. Could not be happier

Great experience. Great people. Thank you for everything.

I would recommend both our realtor and this company to anyone.

If you read your feedback comments there’s a trend with the ones that give low ratings. “Communication” when someone is making one of the largest transactions of there life and using your company, I would think that you would want them to feel comfortable with the process. As soon as I decided to not use the affiliations the honeymoon was over.
