The Veterans United Team went over and behind to help my family. Home buying is hectic and they made it as smooth as possible. I was kept up to date and they worked hard to present solutions to any issues we faced. Thank you so much for your help.

Times have sure changed since I bought a house back in 2002. The work that you all did to assist me in being a homeowner again made me a very happy man. Thank you all so much for your expertise, loyalty and well knowledge team.

As a disgruntled crusty veteran, I know I am not the easiest people to work with but Amber and her team were very patient and took the time to answer all my question. I am so thankful I went with veterans United for our first home purchase.

I was a little stressed at times during the near month-long process and members of the loan department team helped me through it as true troupers to the call of a veteran's need. I have completed my mission and wish to honor the professionalism and compassion represented by the Veterans United Home Loan team and am overjoyed that they will show the same expertise and friendliness to other veterans to come.

Great experience

First and foremost, any business or organization that has "Veterans" in its name better treat us right and not like some number.
While seeking a contruction loan to final permanent mortgage may have differences from your typical home loan, there are some requirements that should never change between the two. For example, proof of military servicev (DD214), earning statements and home insurance.
The underwriter could have provided a list of documents from the start that they might need. Having a short notice request for information and documents impacts a hopeful and positive outcome.
Three days on the day of closing the closing statement came in via Fedex. Upon review I had questions but couls not get anyone from the loan team to respond. The closing date was also the last date our rate couls be locked in. When I met with the title company assisting with our closing Ibwas informed I still owed them receipts. Our rep with title company said nothing from Veterans United had come in yet. This continued for 4 hours until we finally left. On our way home we received a call asking us if we were still at the title company. They asked us to go back as they finally had everything worked out with closing documents. We had arranged with the title company to come back a noon the next day. That following day we were finLly able to close on our permanent mortgage. It was the worst experience that we havw ever experienced in our home buying efforts. Consistent and timely communication are what keeps the process moving. Lastly, at no time should a loan team be completely out of the net and on vacation without a solid support team to back them up.
I have also shared our experience with another veteran who dropped Veterans United services due to poor communication.

Veterans United gave us an incredible experience. They made it so smooth for our first home buying experience. They even remembered we had a dog and sent gift for her! They went above and beyond to help us. They were ALWAYS available and so knowledgeable. They took their time to answer every question and walk us through the steps. Our loan officer helped us on a weekend when we needed to quickly put an offer on a house, and in the evening when we needed to close quickly. Literally, he was always available and we are so appreciative. We can't thank VU, our loan officer and his Team enough for all the help they gave us.

Wonderful people, very helpful.

Every team member was absolutely fantastic! From beginning to end, we never felt left out. This was our best experience with VU yet!

Veterans United is hands down one of the best loan providers when purchasing a home. Exemplary customer service and great services offered throughout the process makes things so much easier. Highly recommend!!!!

I have purchased several homes and this has been my best experience 😊
