everything went fast and smooth-thanks alot
Lee an Morgan were both outstanding, even my realtor was surprised how on the ball they were. I would totally recommend them to any veteran seeking a loan with Veterans United.
Our loan officer was amazing. He was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions immediately. He kept us in the loop on what was going on during the loan process. I would recommend Veterans United to everyone.
Great Experience on refinance!!!
One reason the experience and rating were not higher would probably be because there were times when personal information from VUHL was requested and we would put it together and send it to the one requesting the information only to discover that a couple days later the same information would be re-requested from a second requester. This was discouraging because then, a few more days a third requester would want the same information. Since this information was of a personal and confidential nature, our feelings were one of dismay and with all of the identity thieving going on in the country we weren’t sure we were dealing with VUHL from time to time. This being our first mortgage applied for online made us suspicious at each of these requests. The explanation from the requesters from VUHL somewhat allayed our fears but it was cause for concern.
Another reason affecting our experience and rating decisions was in the area of ironing out the details of actual or ranges of costs that could be incurred by the Buyers, i.e. (us), above the actual purchase price offered and accepted by the Sellers. We felt that it may have changed our minds for us if we had known beforehand that our “incidental†added expense was to amount to 8% above the selling price. Knowing that the PITI influences the bottom line, we originally had figured the incidentals should have been no more than 5%. After the VUHL loan officer explained the reasons for the incidentals everything seemed logical and our concerns were put to rest.
I hope our explanations of these reasons are helpful. They are definitely not intended to be derogatory or negative in any way. To us these reasons were minor bumps in the process and, as said earlier, our experience was very satisfying and we would recommend VUHL to others seeking a similar type mortgage.
Our experience with VU was great. The process went smoothly and timely. Steve was nice to work with and he was very helpful when we needed anything explained or done.
Thank you VU for helping us purchase our home. We love it.
Our "agent" Jake was great. He was our original agent when we bought our home. His people skill were great and helpful when needed. Thanks Jake!

Katie Rose and Patty Kelly were outstanding to work with. If I had a question it was answered with in 1 business day, usually the same day. Their professionalism is unmatched by any other lender that I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them to everyone I meet who has home purchasing needs.
Thank you for all your hard work, it was very much appreciated.
From my initial contact with Jeff Magsamen, I felt that that he and his team had my best interests in mind. Throughout the initial loan application process, I had many questions and concerns that Jeff and his team handled swiftly and efficiently. Never one to sugar coat hard truths, I felt that Jeff prepared me to navigate the loan process and had all of the information that I needed to make important, sometimes difficult decisions. From walking me through the underwriting process to providing timely and accurate responses to me that helped to secure the home that my wife and I had our hearts set on, I have been surprised at just how comfortable this entire process has been. I applaude Jeff and his team for their superior level of customer service, and to the management systems in place that ensure that this level of customer service is attainable. I would recommend Veterans United Home Loans in a heartbeat to anyone interested in purchasing a home!

Jeff and Amanda did a superb job. Veteran's United really knows their game and they made buying a home an absolultly seemless process for us. We can't thank them enough for all they did and for their timeliness with everything.
My loan officer, Eric Weasel, was did an amazing job at helping me to understand the complete process. He was available and willing to answer any questions that I had and made me truly feel as if he had my best interest in mind. He is definitely a great asset to your company.
Nick was extremely prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and on top of every aspect of our refinance process from start to finish. As a real estate agent, I work with loan officers on a daily basis, and Nick is by far the best loan officer I have ever worked with. I will highly recommend him to all of my home-buying clients who do not already have a loan officer.
I can't say enough good things about Lee and Morgan. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile for me throughout the entire process. I could always count on getting a hold of one of them at point during the day if I had a question and if I couldn't reach them, they would get back to me within an hour or two. I really like how the were able to breakdown this complicated refinance process and speak to me in terms that could be easily understood. Because of them I had a great experience with VUHL and will refer friends and family to them without hesitation. In the end, they turned an otherwise stressful process into something where I was able to learn and actually enjoy. Thanks again to Lee and Morgan!
Everyone I dealt with was very professional and knowledgeable. The whole experience was made easy with constant communication. I was very pleased with everything. Keep up the great work in making our Veteran's dreams come true in homeownership!
very satisfied, will recommend in the future
Kim Filger was very friendly and helpful. She did everything she could to make the whole loan process as
easy as it could be. I was very lucky to have her help in this process. In this day and age I thought buying a car was bad, but it doesn't compare to buying a home. Kim made it as painless as possible. It seemed like the banks didn't care if you tried to get a loan from them or not. I was just about ready to quit trying to buy a home and then I talked to Kim and she really cared about me and wanted to do whatever she could to help me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH KIM FILGER.
Ashley K. needs a raise she was so very much helpful. Jon McCarty and his team of professional
were on the job. I think people would be messing-up if they did not contact the professionals at Veterans
