I felt the whole process was an uphill battle. I know there were some things that came up that were out of your control but I felt there was a lot that could have been done to make the process easier. Even down to closing day, there was poor communication with most people involved and the underwriters made things almost impossible. If it weren’t for our realtor I don’t think we would have closed when we did. It was an extremely stressful situation for my entire family. I felt there was a lot of duplication of information too. I provided information but still had to do a conference call with Equifax which took hours. Overall it was a horrible experience. I had people warn me about VU for everything that I basically experienced. It cost me money for longer uhaul rentals and AirBnB stays. I would not recommend to anyone.
