Unbelievably fast and easy going the entire process was with Veterans United.
Everyone worked together as a team to make my first time home purchase possible.
From the moment I was pre-approved to the very end at closing, Jeffrey first called me that I had been pre approved, immediately afterwards Eric in the lending department contacted me introducing himself and advising me that he will try his best on getting the numbers right for me with soon after the numbers came in Eric then introduced me to Justin with Underwriting who had all my questions answered and he notified me whenever he had documentation that needed signatures by using the Veterans United App which made everything so easy.
Lastly but one who was there from the beginning till the end was Kaylyn with home buying concierge. Kaylyn extended her kindness to me with authenticity and thoughtfulness. And with that said everyone at Veterans United were so welcoming and in one month I had been approved for the loan and a closing date.
Do not feel intimidated by your credit score because there’s people at Veterans United who Rock and will make it possible for you to own a home as was my experience.
And now l am in my dream home still trying to believe that I was approved and now a home owner.
Thank you and I’m forever grateful for everyone at Veterans United Family.
P.S Eric, Justin, Jeffrey and Kaylyn the welcome home package 📦 arrived. You guys rocked!
Merry Christmas
God Bless
Brain and his team made my first home buying experience stress free. Brain took the time explaining everything to me and DID NOT treat me like a nuisance. Natalie was also amazing and handled all the ground work for my house.. 10 out of 10
I was nervous to initially check it out, there was always an one excuse or another not to do it. My credit is not the very best but it is decent and it really has to be. Don't expect them to be able to accomplish a un realistic home loan. Be honest with Veterans United and the team assigned to you but more importantly be honest with yourself. Don't expect miracles, know your budget, be prepared, be proactive and most importantly be patient and respond to their request immediately. It's your loan after-all even though you'll feel like the team is only working on your loan, keep in mind they are also working on others and their loans but their response to your concerns are still their highest priority. Even by email which in some cases are at odd late / early morning hours. Just shows you they are definitely working on your behalf to give you their very best effort to make your loan happen. If your expectations are realistic and your honestly expecting a good experience you'll be satisfied. Unless your assigned Loan specialist team is Logan and his team then good won't be "good enough" of a rating you'll actually recieve an excellent experience. Also would like to say to you all that Logan's team includes a beautiful coordinator/specialist named Taylor working on your loan and she is a Rockstar, I give Taylor 100 stars as she is fantastic in all areas as well. If I had to do it again I'd request and not quit requesting for Logan and Taylor to be assigned to accomplish my loan package that's how great they are.
Logan and team made me the happiest new home owner i could be and like I stated above they are what makes the Veterans United Home Loan experience stand out among the rest.
Communication was excellent! They were always available for any issues!
We are finding more and more wrong with the house.I got fucked in this, and I wish I never did this.
I am sorry I have to say this, but this second time around started out great tell the end.
I feel that Jon was pre-occupied in his work in and out of the office.
Getting final numbers was a tragedy and more work is needed to have final numbers and response to the client.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Devon,
I’m really sorry to hear that this second experience didn’t end the way you hoped. When things start out strong, it’s disappointing to feel the communication slip or to be left waiting on final numbers. That part of the process can be stressful, and you deserved clearer updates as everything came together.
I’d really like for my advocates to have the chance to look into what happened and make sure your feedback is fully reviewed. If you’re open to it, you can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. My team is here from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, and if you reach out after hours we’ll typically follow up the next business day.
Thank you for taking the time to share this with me. I’m here if you’d like to talk more about your experience.
Great group of professionals have done and OUTSTANDING job with me. I will gladly recommend them to other veterans.
My team was AMAZING in going the extra mile. Chris constantly kept me in the loop and was willing to answer any questions. I would recommend them to anyone requiring a home loan
