This has been the easiest, friendliest, and most knowledgeable lending team we have ever dealt with. Veterans United made the home loan approval and closing simple. We were very impressed and couldn't be happier with the service from Veterans United Mortgage.
Sometimes, You find Angels and cant explain their purpose.I would like to tell you, Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in working for me to have a Home.It is October 2022, Last year I did not have a Home. My Ex-Wife made False allegations on me conducting Domestic Violation (Towards her), Child Abuse (Towards my Daughter) and Treating to Kill (Towards my Ex-Mother-in-Law), so the police had to evict me.
I lived in the streets for 4 days until I found a Hotel (Motel 6 Lantana, FL) where Pimps, Prostitutes and drug deals activities. (I had to take a cheap hotel because I was paying for the house we had and the house after I got evicted from she moved the rest of her family) and Lawyer cost) It was not easy.Yes, Last year was a horrible year. Those living conditions were depressing (Loneliness, Sadness and thoughts of how Ungrateful that woman was and taking my only child with lies) as such, that I thought of committing suicide.
It is written, "Hope is the essence of all things" that word "Hope" gave me strength to look at the future and not the present.
One step at a time. First fight off all these allegations, then have a home while keeping myself alive and healthy.I don't remember how all good things started, but I see how my situation is 360 degrees later (1 year ago) have changed. From Living on the back of my vehicle, to living under dangerous conditions , to nearly going to jail under false judgements to having a home where my daughter can stay with me.
This last episode, having a home, could not be possible if it wasn't because Dustin, Miles and Debbie. Your patient, time and dedication helped have a Home.Debbie, Dustin, Miles:
Sometimes, You find Angels and cant explain their purpose.Feel Proud, very proud of what you have done. you don't see this story many times, at least I don't.Debbie Dustin Miles
Hope is the essence of all thingsThank you
I would hope that buying a home is this easy for everyone! The process was painless, any and every unforeseen obstacle was handled quickly with immense vigor and the team as a whole made buying a house so easy, even a cave man could do it :)
Everyone that was involved in my home buying process has been beyond amazing. The Veterans United team from Scott (the loan officer) down to the guy that checked on insurance quotes was fantastic. The entire team was included in emails and text messages so that all parties involved (including me) had a grasp of what the other members were working on. I would highly recommend this company to any service member looking to purchase a home.
My experience buying a home was a little different, since I was gone on my honeymoon for 2 weeks right in the middle of the process, and I didn't have a real estate agent since I was buying the home I was currently renting and occupied. The Veterans United team I had did their best to work with me and my schedule, and answered all questions I had as a first time home buyer. Since I didn't have a realtor and did everything directly with them, I am very grateful that they were all very friendly and nice to work with, and very patient with me. The only critique is that it seemed they didn't always communicate thoroughly between each other, and I would end up retelling the same information or dealing with something more than once because they were unaware of the information, or that it had already been addressed. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Veterans United to anyone who was looking to buy a home using the VA Home Loan!
Laura and Blair were also very helpful as we closed answering all of my phone calls with a friendly demeanor as I stressed about the process they kept me calm
Great experience with the whole team. Literally stayed with us during the entire process.
Can’t say enough good things and hope to work with the VU in the future
This was my first home buying experience. It was made as painless as possible and we closed on time with very little issues. Overall I couldn’t be happier with how everything went and definitely will be reaching out when I’m looking to buy my next house at my next duty station.
The only issue I had with the process was the fact that I was talking to so many people. I wasn’t sure who to write when I had questions. I also didn’t like that I would be told my closing costs would be for sure at a certain price then came in a couple thousand above that. Otherwise it was great when I did talk to people they were friendly and informative. Would completely recommend.

Experience first-hand why 315,731 homeowners give us a perfect score!
I would recommend using Veterans United to all my collogues and veteran friends.
Veterans United were full of friendly people and the website made it so easy and fast. I put in an offer and within a month I was moving into my very first and own home. I can’t express enough how amazing it was to work with them.
Work with team on what can be disclosed and what can not be disclosed to certain clients. I was a little disappointed in some things that were shared with the seller’s agent by accident. This costed some leverage in my purchase. I would imagine this has been resolved. I hope anyways.
I Sontag think the question is what can I say about VU? I think it’s what can’t you say about VU? You can’t say they don’t take care of you. You can’t say they don’t like us veterans. You can’t say that it’s not personal to them and you can’t say you can’t get a hold of anyone on the weekends when they’re on vacation. Because if you did, you’d be lying. I’ve been through many mortgage companies and by far VU(Luke and Co.) have always been there for me. Always. Thank you guys. Much much appreciation.
The entire team I worked with at Veterans United was exceptional. There’s no way things could’ve been better.
