Josh Schultz and his team at VU was by far the best decision I made in getting our home. I know I was lucky to get Josh as my representative but if everyone there has a third of the work ethic and ethics of his team the ones looking for a mortgage will be highly satisfied
As a first time homebuyer, with my husband currently deployed during this process, the entire VU team was always on our side. Always helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, responsive, you name it. VU always had our best interests at heart, Mike and our lending team couldn't have made this process any easier. I honestly thought with my husband deployed, I was getting myself into a nightmare situation. It was anything but. The team made our first home buying experience a dream come true! And now, we are first time home owners!!

When I first started looking for a home I heard that the VA loan process can be slower or a hassle. But, for me that was absolutely not the case! My team got me to close in under a month and were more than helpful. As a first time buyer, I had no idea about the process. However, this was not an issue as the online to do lists and check-ins from the team kept me right on track.

The whole team we have had has been so amazing, and understanding. They really went out of their way to keep things simple and smooth, we would love to work with them again in the future.
The experience I had with veterans united was very poor. I felt as if I was being taken advantage of and it was very difficult to get any straight answers out of my loan team. It was obvious to me that they didn't care about my personal experience and that I was just another number in the system. It wasn't until I threatened to change lender's that my team started to take me seriously and help me. I would not recommend VU to anyone I know.
