Veterans United is amazing. We didnt know what to expect coming into this process. We always heard it could be rough. But, starting with Susan helping get our credit where it needed to be and ending with Charles (best loan officer ever), Susan, Nicole and Amanda finishing up and closing on our first home in time for Christmas (17 days!!!) the process has been so streamlined and easy. Information flows between everyone seemlessly. I would highly recommend Charles and the whole Veterans United team to anyone.
Poor communication, utter lack of customer service by angry/belligerent "senior loan officer," inability to problem-solve, unable or unwilling to solve a routine VOE issue, unable to call the underwriter without a suggestion from the customer... easily the worst experience after several painless previous VA loans with other companies. They somehow managed to get the loan done (of course, they didn't send the title company the paperwork, so we sat in the lobby waiting) so I guess it could've been worse.
I couldn’t have chosen a better lender to work with. The team was rock solid and helped tremendously throughout the home buying process.

As a first time homebuyer, I was very happy with the whole process, Miss Allison, Barno, and Kara were the best that anyone could ask for. Their knowledge and expertise working for Veterans United is top notch! I didn’t feel like I was just another number in their eyes, they made us feel like family. Because of everyone’s hard work, we were able to close on our house in a timely manner. I would recommend Veterans United along with Allison, Barno, and Kara when you’re ready to buy a home. 100% hands down will use VU again. My lender strung me along for 7 months constantly making me feel uneasy about our home buying process. Weeks before closing they became very confusing and repetitive in requests and just over all terrible communication and customer service. I had received a preapproval from VU before so I just contacted them again. I had to apply all over again but Lauren and Hannah came in as what I can only describe as “like superheros” and helped me prep my application for the most efficient way to get underwriting done. My closing did have to get adjusted to allow for a couple of things to process… but that adjustment was ONE DAY. I will forever keep the VU team in mind and look forward to working with them again some day!
