Veterans United and the team we worked with were awesome, we will never work with anyone else when buying a home! My sister worked with VU for her recent home purchase and also had nothing but good things to say! We will recommend VU to any veteran looking to buy a home!

When we faced the risk of losing the house purchase, Veterans United intervened in a chaotic situation and alleviated the entire process on short notice.

Was a very smooth process and the app and website made turning in documents so easy

Charles and the team were great. Attentive and asked all my questions when I had them.

They were straight-forward, timely, and efficient.

Amazing experience!!!

good service all through the prosses i will use them when i buy my next home

Amazing assistance made this easy in a world of chaos!!!! I’ll always use Greg, but personally hope this my last buy!!!

The Veterans united team are very exceptional team. They are ready and eager to work with new customers and existing ones. They made the home buying process a very smooth and pleasant experience. Thank you Veterans United. You guys rock!!

Matthew and Rachael were on top of everything throughout the entire process. My buyers felt that all their needs were met and questions were answered. I would recommend VA buyers to Matthew again!

1. Many of the houses, which I preferred, were unavailable due to Veterans United’s stringent inspection policies. This resulted in me having to settle for a property that didn’t have the appeal that I was interested in.2. My closing cost figures were “all-over-the-place”, resulting in a huge depletion of my cash, credit and savings.3. The website listed the property monthly payments at a little over $640, which turned out to be close to $900It will be a miracle if I can afford to be in the house for 3-months!
Response from Veterans United
Hi Mitchell,
I’m really sorry to hear how overwhelming and disappointing this process felt for you. Buying a home is already a major decision, and when the numbers shift or the homes you’re excited about don’t work out, it can feel like the rug’s been pulled out from under you.
It sounds like a mix of factors left you feeling blindsided—from homes not passing the VA-required standards to closing cost swings and that unexpected jump in your monthly payment. I can absolutely understand how that would shake your confidence, especially when you’re just starting out in a new home and trying to budget for what’s ahead.
I’d really appreciate my team have the chance to look into your file and better understand how everything unfolded. If you’re willing, I’d love to talk one-on-one. You can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, but feel free to reach out anytime.

The entire team at veterans united and the realtor were so amazing, quick, and made the whole process as smooth as humanly possible!

I would recommend this company to every veteran I come across. This was a great experience with very few hiccups and the communication was fantastic.

Process was simple and easy to get approved. Andy Miller was fantastic to work with. Was kept in the loop during entire process, and had everything explained to me in detail as I was a first time home-buyer. He made sure all of my questions were answered and never made me feel "rushed". Highly recommend ????
