Nick, Audrey and Marianne are all rockstars! They’re on top of things, very friendly, always available, and they worked hard to get us in a home. They really helped to make the transition out of the military so much easier for our family knowing we had a home to move into. We are so grateful for their service and support.

The underwriting process was one of the most stressful times of my life. But… I knew the loan officers and others were going to be right there with me. I did everything the team asked of me immediately, knowing that I was not there to mess around! I needed a roof over my head and was doing this completely solo and am a perfectionist. I wish it would have been more transparent a lot sooner as to what underwriting were looking for specifically and what documents they would need rather than making me wait until last minute, pushing my closing date and making me feel like I wasn’t going to have a home. It cost me a lot of extra money, stress, and time to push the closing date. I will say I was able to get an extra closing credit which was so appreciated! With all that said, I was still thoroughly impressed and happy with Justin, Nikki, and the rest of the team’s diligence and helpfulness in getting into my house. Minus the last (literally unattainable) underwriting document issues, it was amazing.
Veterans United was terrific with everything. They were very helpful with this being my home purchase. I have friends looking for buying a house. And I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VETERANS UNITED to them. Along with the team that worked with me.

I only dropped from a 10 because of underwriting. My underwriter was changed twice after starting the process, and no information was exchanged between them. A lot of going over the same things over and over. Also would send clear messages to Jonathan, to which seemed like he didn’t even read my message, asking for something immediately, that I had just told him would be coming the following Monday, as an example. This happened a few times.

Everyone on the team was so helpful and knowledgeable with any questions I had. Definitely made the home loaning process so much easier for someone who has never done it before!
Only issues I ran into were here in NY the Lawyers office was a joke. VU was great though thanks for dealing with my impatience lol
My only recommendation would be to have more line of communication. The only hang up we had was not closing on time due to paperwork. But that was not communicated until after my family had moved out of and closed on the house we were selling.
Well again, it was a wonderful experience from day one all the way up to closing. Having a team that works for you and guiding you through the whole process was wonderful. I always felt at ease because all my questions were answered.
I was really amazed and impressed at the team effort. I feel really good about spreading the news about my experience with Veterans United. Again, they were like having a friend on speed dail when you need them about advice or guidance. I rate my experience a 10 and give them a thumbs up and look forward to working with them in the future.

Everything went great. Harris is great to work with and I’ll work with him in the future. My only let down is the communication between members of the loan team and the buyer is not very strong.
Very pleased with the whole pain free process
I was pleased with Veterans United as a whole. I'm glad that I chose to go with them for my refinance. They will determine to have my refinance closed. in the timely manner.
