I would recommend solely for the low interest rate . The ease of their “to do” checklist is fine but I had to do tasks generally more than once - once I figured that out I started asking for clarification before doing the task/ wondering what happened to my document or why my explanation wasn’t enough. Then they had to go back through not even realizing I had submitted anything in the first place - so that was aggravating.
Realtor- I used they’re recommendation before for a realtor but this time I cannot say they’re team was a good one. Numerous oversights and in the end they didn’t even show up to my closing- which I thought was rude but maybe they just didn’t want to see me in person due to all the issues and missteps we were having. Either way- poor people and management skills on the realtors part. I almost ended up working with the listing agent more due to trusting him more.

I’m glad to hear the interest rate worked well for you, but I understand how aggravating it must have been to redo tasks and wonder what happened to documents you’d already submitted. That’s not how we want our process to feel.

Very kind, helpful and efficient. After hearing friends and family complain about the problems they encountered buying a house, I was pretty apprehensive about the process, but Veterans United made it so easy! Answering all questions promptly and all documents as soon as they were available. I am very, very pleased with our results, and am looking forward to moving into our lovely new home in two days.

They never gave up on me. Honestly they were a miracle in my Life. anybody that's a part of or even associated with Veterans United is a good friend of mine, and are welcome to come take a dip in swimming pool in the back yard of the beautiful home I would never have been able to purchase without the help of Veterans United home loans. Honestly I owe it all to them. The patience and care along with the professional approach
Let's you feel safe during this most stressful decision making process of buying a home. This is the largest investment that a person usually makes in their life. I can confidently tell you that when my girlfriend told me to call veterans United I had given up on trying to buy anything but making that call to them was the best decision. I ever made. I thank you a million times over every day for the rest of my life VETERANS UNITED HOME LOANS. Craig and Chad and Barno you are my very best friends thank you with all my heart. May God bless you.

Early as possible should detail exactly what (all) documents are required and to what extent and should upfront inform the Veteran the exact participation requirements of the spouse. Informing the Veteran allows the Veteran to more timely produce required documentation, make decisions on whether or not to move forward with Veterans United, and ensure availability of the spouse.
