As a 1st time homebuyer, I am very happy to share that I had a phenomenal experience! From the very beginning with the pre-approval till closing, Katie Smith and her team always kept me up to date on my loan processing, and were always available to help answer or clear up any questions I had. Without their professionalism & expertise, it would not have been the same. I also loved the to do tasks list, which helped me tremendously in providing any information/documents to support my loan application.

It was no guarantee but we closed in under a month! The entire team made the process so easy all I had to do was occasionally send a couple documents and pick up the phone. I would and will recommend this service to anyone and everyone!






It was a bumpy ride because of the seller but my loan officer Evan mehuys did a outstanding job helping resolve any problems came up!

What’s the problem for the last year with making a payment on/through the App and getting any viable information or feedback on any of the options her within…I can’t get any answers and I’m ready to move away from Veterans United. What is your answer and what do we have to accomplish for you to be responsive?

My entire experience with Veterans United was exceptional. Since 2013 my family and I had been looking for a new home and I contacted VU to help me with my VA loan, but nothing ever panned out. It wasn’t until 2025 that we finally found the right place. Within that 12 year period, I was never pressured to do anything or rush into a property that was not right for me and my family. Daren Bodine, my loan officer, was extremely patient, supportive, and patient the entire time. I cannot express enough gratitude to Daren and how patient he has been.

Matt and his team were always there to calm the fears of a first-time home buyer. We chose Veterans United over all the local options and I'm glad we did. Although the mountain of paperwork was sometimes intimidating, it was easy to upload the necessary paperwork to the site and get this process completed. I wish to thank Matt and his team.
