Veteran's United worked with us closely through seven months of financing. They advised us on all aspects of finding a lender and the advantages of seeking a second home mortgage. Our income supports that loan, but we had been denied approval in January by our primary Credit union and Veterans United worked on a very personal basis to help us as we seek to move to Georgia, where two of our daughters' families live with six of our grandchildren. Loan officer was hard to contact at times but very knowledgeable and helpful when assisting. Underwriters gave me a very hard time even with proof of employment provided.
No need to shop around, Veterans United is a worry free company to use when you want your home! We felt like family by the time of the final underwriting process arrived. Such a great group of people to have handle such an important financial task.

To be completely transparent, I started my home buying process with Veterans United by simply looking at the VA loan calculator. I clicked a few steps and put my information in by mistake while trying to access the calculator to see what an estimate payment would look like. Little did I know, a wonderful person named Benjamin was ready to help me purchase my first home. From the moment we spoke on the phone for the first time to the day before closing, Benjamin has been truly a blessing. Benjamin, Kylie, and Ethan are a wonderful team. My family and I have our dream home as our first home because of their efforts. I cannot thank them enough. Maybe it’s a good thing they aren’t in Florida because if I ever got the chance to meet the three of them, I would give them the biggest and baddest bear hug on this planet.

The only improvement I would recommend is to find a way to better assist service members who are stationed overseas. Our time difference is big and we don’t have the ability to overnight documents. Other than that it was a great home buying experience and I have already recommended it to my family and friends.
The entire process was made so easy with their outstanding teams. Every step of the way we were guided and after our closing the online app makes mortgage payments simple and easy. I have used several mortgage companies but Veterans United is hands down the very best.
