We were pretty happy with our previous mortgage company, which was also a VA loan. But when we needed someone on a Sunday, Veterans United was there. They offered seamless service, the online app makes uploading things very easy, and everyone is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and approachable. Our team gave us their direct lines, so we never went through a switchboard.

The easiest way for a Veteran to get a mortgage loan. Super easy to use online process. I was able to upload all my paperwork very easy. I could monitor the progress of the loan and the entire Veterans United team was great to work with.

Overall this was a great experience, one thing I would recommend to improve is giving an overview of the required items for each step of the process. Having the to-do items gate kept by completing the items created a lot of redundant requests and also had us caught flat-footed a couple of times as we look through documents while also packing to move to provide items. There were also mutliple times when the underwriter requested items we had already provided in early parts of the approval process.
In fairness, I did ask for a newer agent as I didn’t want a slick Willy. Last time (2020) I got an excellent agent for Post Falls Idaho (Joel Olson). He was so good, we had him sell the same home we bought thru him!
