Definitely the best experience working with Veterans United.
You folks do an outstanding job working with those of us who need complete guidance because we know absolutely nothing about real estate. It was comforting and educational to have you there. I hope this will be my last move, if for some reason not, you will be hearing from us again.
GREAT JOB BY AN EXCELLENT AGENT. THANKS TREVOR!
We were working with another mortgage company for our VA Home loan but were never able to reach them for clarification and were asked to submit documents that we later found out didn't even exist! After 3 months we still weren't able to close on our home. We then switched to Veterans United and couldn't have been more pleased! They simplified the home buying process for us and we're very knowledgable and almost always available right away to answer questions! Every document they needed was explained to us and wasn't impossible to find! We had no idea buying a home could be so easy!

Although there were a few minor frustrations on the part of requests for information coming in pieces, any concerns I had were IMMEDIATELY addressed, even to the last minute of closing!
The process was pretty straight forward in the beginning. I was even told at one point they wanted to move my closing up to a week before I had requested. Then all of a sudden the day before my closing date (that was on all my paperwork) I get an EMAIL saying that my closing won't be happening on the date I had thought and it would happen "sometime in the next week" , after that email my impression of VUHL went down drastically. From software outages to "office conferences" and my favorite blaming the realtor .... The excuses became lengthy and communication was lacking. I didn't know until the date of closing that I was actually closing and my closing costs were not reviled until about 2 hours before I went to sign my papers. The last two weeks of hell left a fairly sour taste in my mouth about the whole experience.
Luke, Jean and Melissa were rockstars when it came to this home buying process. I never had a question unanswered and they did a stellar job of keeping me informed even though I myself was in and out of contact at times during the whole process. I was particularly impressed with the way they overcame what I can only label as "hostility in a passive aggressive nature" of the atrociously garbage company known as Pemco. Thanks for all the hard work all around.
Tom and his team at Veterans United. Will have your best interests in mind, finding ways to save the veteran money.
Garet was knowledgeable helpful and always willing to answer questions. He was a pleasure to work with and I would gladly recommend him to anyone,
Being a disabled combat veteran has its own set of challenges that follow me through life. Veterans united and specifically Marcus and Kathy helped me through the stress of buying a home, and made sure to treat me with the kindness, respect, and dignity that all veterans deserve and have earned. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!! You and Kathy are the bees knees. Peace and love, Sami
Very friendly people with the homeowners best interests in mind, looking to see that you can get into a home that you love while allowing the homeowner to see the whole picture and helping them understand what is attainable or not, so there are no surprises along the way. Veterans United Home Loans representatives went above and beyond my expectations and were very professional with prompt responses to get us the information we needed to be able to make the best choices possible, helping us to obtain the house we love that was within the price range we could afford.
