VU has been wonderful for first time home buyers using a VA Loan. I am perpetually online myself so having an entire service that operates online is right up my alley. More over the calculators provided are a nice perk to evaluate my finances further down the line. The only reason I would recommend one to shop around a bit as opposed to go full steam for VU is the interest rates. They aren't wildly out of the currently market range or anything, but they were a tic above average it seemed.
I would highly recommend VU to anyone seeking to purchase a home!

This was an excellent experience. We had many challenges to home ownership and VU met them with transparency and efficiency. They made the hoops to jump through minimal and met the challenges head on with positivity and efficiency. They were very respectful and even sent a get well gift when I fell horribly ill. They were very understanding and considerate of all of our challenges including my disabilities.

I'm late to the home buying game of life. At age 61, I thought perhaps I would never own a home. There is absolutely no other place Steve and I would go than Veterans United. They are more than a team of experts who process your home loan, they treat you like family. I was confused about the underwriter. Moving to a different location without a house and filing for a transfer with my job is a hectic process. For some people, you can't just file a transfer and drop everything with your job to include potential trainings just to satisfy the underwriter that the house that you are purchasing will be your primary residence. There's a process on everything. It will take time to move your family to include jobs especially if you work for the government and military reserve.
Again, I have to say George was amazing and I hope you send as many people his way because he was truly the best!Everyone we talked to at Veterans United was great and I’m so glad we had such a great team by our side while buying our first and (hopefully) forever home!
Zach Roberts and Tom Purk were awesome. They explained every step of the process and answered all of our
questions in a timely manner. I work nights and they worked around my schedule, which was great.
