The team was outstanding, and kept the process on track.
My team was very helpful during the purchase of my home.
OMG!!! The experience I had with Veterans United and my Loan officer Mr. Steve was an amazing experience. From the time I got pre-approved to my closing date I never felt I was alone in the process. I was made to feel like I was my loan officer and Real Estate Agents only customers. No questions that I had went unanswered. I would recommend my entire team to anybody. The whole process was just too easy to be true to me at times. I'm grateful for ALL the hard work that was put in to ensure that I got into my dream home.
This closing was as smooth as it possibly could have been. Everyone was there to answer any questions, and the communication was great.Thank you,
The Gramanz Family
Absolutely fantastic.
Veterans United Home Loans transformed my home-buying dream into reality! Their unparalleled expertise, lightning-fast approvals, unbeatable rates, and personalized care made the process effortless and exhilarating. Truly the gold standard for veterans absolute legends! Jeremy Arnold and his team are who I recommend if you want a silky smooth personal experience tailored to your needs. That team treats you as a human and not another collected loan. Jeremy Arnold didn't just sell me a house, he handed me a life upgrade. Knew every inch of the neighborhood like his backyard, fought tooth and nail for the best deal, and never once made me feel rushed. Even as something as random as on a sunday night nine PM sharp he's still texting back like it's nothing, walking me through escrow like I'm his only client. Unreal energy, unreal guy. If they had ten stars, I'd give twenty. Promote this man yesterday.
When I started the loan with veterans United, I spoke to Stephanie Snow. I was looking for a VA loan and she brought up me purchasing a point to bring payment down as I was putting half the money down to purchase the house. Upon receiving an initial paperwork, I pointed out to her that I was a veteran and the paperwork was incorrect. She called me and was going on about my husband who was also a veteran and had passed away. I explained to her that I was a veteran, after 28 years of service and was activated previously. I thought we were all set.
I found a house everything was going forward and then my realtor calls me about an addendum changing from a VA loan to a conventional loan. I was rather annoyed at this as Stephanie had never notified me of this change. Again, speaking with her she never corrected the paperwork, does she not understand that women are veterans too? To this day she has never corrected the paperwork and then when I brought up the point, she decided for me that I didn’t need it, just as she decided I needed a conventional loan versus a VA loan.
I plan onrefinancing when rates come down, but I would not go with veterans united.Additionally, when the VU concierge called and was asking about this and that I said I would look at it later. I really did not appreciate her giving my phone number to ADT for them to keep calling me.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Shelli,
I truly appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback, and I’m very sorry to hear about your experience. You should have felt fully understood and supported from the start, especially when it came to recognizing your own service and ensuring your loan reflected that. I can understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with the change in loan type and the issues with your paperwork.
It’s also concerning to hear that your contact information may have been shared in a way that led to unwanted calls. That’s not the kind of experience we want for anyone, and I’d really like my team to have the chance to look into this further and help make things right. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com
so we can review what happened and make sure your concerns are addressed.
Most importantly, thank you for your 28 years of service. Every veteran’s story matters deeply to us, and I’m truly sorry that didn’t come through in your experience.
The knowledge and prompt responses to all questions were answered in a timely and friendly manner.
