Cannot say enough, I can say this though. Overall, I had a positive experience working with Veterans United for my home purchase in Chicago. The team handled the VA loan requirements and appraisal efficiently and I appreciated the clear communication regarding the conditional approval and final clear to close.However, there were a couple of minor issues. I experienced some communication delays around some questions regarding my mail forwarding and the final cash to close was significantly higher than the initial estimate provided by the lender, which felt abnormal and was a bit of a surprise at the end. Despite these hurdles, the team ensured we stayed on track for a successful closing.
Veterans United was recommend to us by our daughter (Air National Guard) and son-in-law (Active duty Air Force) who had just recently purchased a home as well. Jodi was always available and responsive to any questions and keeping with the long checklist of all tasks to be completed. No matter the time of day or night she always kept us informed of our progress and always seemed as excited as we were as we drew closer to the closing date. We were quite surprised and love the house warming gift we received as well. Thank you all for helping achieve our goal of obtaining our forever home!
