Veterans united team exceed our expectation, the process was smooth all the way and our experience as first time home buyers was outstanding! I will 100% recommend!
Have a few issues:
1. When I first applied with VA United I was informed that my closing costs were part of the loan, once I found a home and went to start the closing it changed, and I was told that closing costs were not allowed to be put into the loan. This was very frustrating since I signed a contract with the other homeowner for no closing cost assistance.
2. During the closing process, I could not believe how many times I found mistakes on the cost sheets. Again, very frustrating since I felt I was lied to once.
From the beginning to the end, Veterans United helped us in the process of buying a new home. There was never a disconnection with Veterans United because they were always on top of the process. We appreciate their integrity, commitment, professionalism and great communication. Dan Hopkins and his TEAM ROCK! We are very happy with deciding to go with Veterans United when we were looking to buy a home. We would recommend others to our Team at VETERANS UNITED. THANK YOU VETERANS UNITED FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR US. WE LOVE OUR NEW HOME. IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU THIS COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. WHAT A BLESSING!

There wasn’t an option for my loan coordinator Tim Waldron but I’ll leave my notes on this box. Not only was Tim on a mission to get me this home, but he was also the nicest person ever. He was very genuine and had a great attitude. I could tell how happy Tim was when we would get things approved and when I got my clear to close, such a great guy! He was on top of his game and whenever something would need to be done it would get relayed to me super quick! He was so helpful. I could go on and on about how great this guy was but I don’t think it would fit in the box! I’ll close with this… Tim was a great person and great loan coordinator!
The whole Veterans United Team made something that seemed impossible to me, a reality! I had never purchased a home from afar and they assisted with every step and kept things moving smoothly. Veterans United Home Loans is an amazing company to assist Veterans like myself in this home buying process. My husband and I have been told that we will not be in a position to purchase a home for a long time by several other home loan programs. Shannon was able to assist us in creating a plan over a 12 month period to move us towards home ownership. He was very transparent, I never felt pressured like he was just trying to gain business(I know we all hate those types of interactions). He was also personable which I really appreciated.

Peace of mind was a positive experience, my first home and it made me realize that as a Navy disabled Veteran I had the keys already to opening the door to my Dream Home without even knowing it ..the team kept me positive, even on the days I questioned my self , I deserved a great experience and got it 110% approving Veterans United Teams work . We hit a grand slam together.. especially in time for Easter .
