Working with Veterans United Home Loans was an incredibly easy process. We refinanced our home with cash out and our team made it extremely easy. We closed in a little more than 60 days, exactly when they said we would. I think the easiest part of this process was that it was done all from the comfort of our home. Thank you Veterans United for everything…most importantly helping us change our life for the better!!

The VA team was absolutely amazing and helpful. As a first time home buyer, everything was new and confusing to me, both Julie and Chelsea were absolutely amazing it helping me get through each step and explaining the process to me. I would recommend them to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Great company. Very much military oriented and make sure that everything is in order. Definitely recommend for anyone trying to get a new home. I'm not proud of it but I had to bankrupt on a VA loan and thought I'd never get a loan from them again but they made it possible. Thank you Veterans Unitied.

Everyone that dealt with Dennis, absolutely raves about him. Both title companies and our agent thoroughly enjoyed working with him. Also our agent Missy was thoroughly wonderful. She went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor.

I had a great experience with my loan team especially Cameron Whittaker. He was exceptional and very responsive throughout what seemed like a never ending process. Cam was like my right hand man. He walked me through from pre approval to closing. My family and I are very grateful with the team at veterans united.

At no time was I ever told that we couldn’t close on the new house until the old one was sold which caused a small hiccup in the closing date. Sheldon sent an email indicating that we were not being cooperative which is a total lie. Everything that was asked of us I supplied. Also my elderly sick brother gifted us $18,000 which Kevin was aware of 2 weeks ago however, the “team” waited until Friday at 1pm to tell us they need a gift letter showing what account this money came from and show it entering into Robert and mine account. Only to find out that we could use the money from the sale of our house. Which means for Robert and I that we now have to pay taxes on the $18,000 because you are only allowed to receive $15,000 as a gift. Thank you Veterans for causing us this hardship. So would we recommend you absolutely not. In fact as soon as interest rates go down we will be refinancing with another institution. I am extremely unhappy with your service or lack there of should I say.

Response from Veterans United

Robert,

Thank you for sharing. Let me be the first to apologize for the less than exceptional experience. I’m sorry we let you down. Our Client Advocate team is here to listen and look into this further as appropriate. Your feedback helps improve the service we deliver to our Veterans.
I hope we can help make this better. We sincerely thank you for letting us serve you all the same.

Very best wishes,
Kendra, Client Relations
