I have nothing but the best comments for Veteran's United and their loan officers. When I applied for a mortgage loan I assumed I would have to go conventional since I did not think I had enough VA eligibility to cover the purchase price of our home. My loan officer took the initiative to check my VA eligibility anyway. The end result is I saved thousands of dollars in down payment and closing costs!! The entire process was extremely simple and informative from loan initiation to closing. The loan officer I dealt with, Jodi C. was a consummate professional at all times all the way through the loan closing process. She and the entire Veteran's United staff were EXCEPTIONAL in every way and most importantly communicated right away with me if I had questions. This really kept me calm!! I have purchased many homes in my lifetime ant those experiences resembled a root canal! The tool that Veteran's United uses has a "To Do" list and informs you every step of the process the status of the mortgage application and additional requirements required to expedite the loan approval and closing process. We closed recently on our retirement home and my closing attorney had nothing but POSITIVE accolades for the Veteran's United staff she dealt with in the mortgage closing process. The closing attorney could not believe in today's environment it only took about 33 days from loan application to closing!
Since my wife and I are retired, the home we just closed with Veteran's United will probably be our last. However, whether you are new to the home buying process or any where between, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Veteran's United as the FIRST CHOICE for a mortgage lender. If you are working with another lender and the whole communication and loan process feels like you are getting a root canal, give Veteran's United a chance. You WILL BE GLAD you switched to Veteran's United!! Thank you Veteran's United and staff for making my home purchasing experience the BEST EVER!!

If you are looking for someone to refinance your home or buy a first home the team at Veterans United is highly recommend.

Excellent from the day we first spoke to the day we closed. The combination of responsive, knowledgeable staff and the collaborative web site that managed all of the different documents made the entire process easy for my family. Definitely will recommend Veterans United to other veterans I know.

I would 100% recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to purchase a home especially military families buying for the first time and using the VA Loan. I'd also like to mention how awesome the Online Portal feature is in breaking down the steps when purchasing a home. It can easily get confusing with where you're at, and what to do next. This feature made everything organized, gave you a clear vision on exactly what to do and even provided you with your representatives' contact information in case you have questions.

The entire team from Veterans United, were proficient, professional, informative, and personal. The organization is well organized and well run, especially with us being in a time crunch.

I am 72 years old and have bought a number of properties in my life time. Veterans united is the most outstanding company I have ever worked with when buying a home. As we all know, there are many challenges and obstacles to over come in buying a home, veterans united was with me every step of the way. I felt like they were part of the family. I highly recommend you contact them when purchasing a home...

I would definitely recommend Veterans United to other service members looking to purchase a home.

I am very pleased with my experience. I have been on this journey off and on for quite some time now and am amazed at how quickly it was for me to close this time around after switching to Veterans United. I am thankful for my team for helping me secure a nice home for me and my family.

Veterans United is truly a VA lender for the Veteran and their family. Forget the TV commercials about other VA lenders. I am very proud of my military service and retirement. Veterans United made me feel respected as a veteran and never an applicant for a VA home loan. My loan officer was Brian Bradley. From my first phone call to application then closing, the entire process was seamless and painless. There were a couple of bumps along the way because of my recent divorce and financial mess the divorce left me in. Brian, Lee Ann and the underwriters solved these issues in minutes and hours NOT days and weeks. My loan was ready to close in 3 weeks with Christmas and New Years in the mix. I do not think Brian and Lee Ann take a day off. I have purchased 4 homes over the years using the VA Home Loan. All lenders promising me the moon for being a veteran. My bar and expectations are set very high and Veterans United is the only lender that made me feel like I was respected and in control. FYI for applicants.
When the Brian and Lee Ann ask for requested additional information and documentation within 24-48 hours to keep the process flowing and "YOUR" home loan moving forward, just do it. Be proactive in "YOUR" home loan process.
