From the beginning to the end Veterans United was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely work with Veternas United again.
If your a Veteran and looking to make moves this is by far the only right decision . Speed , accuracy and hospitality that is untouched . A big thank you to the entire Veterans United family
Great start to the loan process. Home concierge and recommended realtor were fantastic. Sadly, it went downhill from there. From the out of pocket costs being almost double what was estimated to lack of communication to the loan almost falling through at LITERALLY the 11th hour, the last week was nothing short of a stress nightmare.Closing on the loan was delayed due to, what my wife and I feel, the loan team dropping the ball then having to scramble to make it happen. Veterans United even had to pay a fee to the law office for not making the loan documents available by the due date. The correct (final) closing costs were not submitted to us until 3 hours before the new closing date/time so my wife and I had to scramble to get the closing costs wired in time. Then, LITERALLY, an updated closing costs statement was submitted that was different than what we had to wire.We had high hopes this whole process would have been less stressful and more “streamlined” as the reviews stated it should be. This was not the case in our experience.
The crew was great in helping my wife and I in purchasing our home. Thanks to all of you.
Thank you.
Buying a house can be very stressful and downright intimidating with all the lists of things required and having to deal with people you don't know personally. In this day and age of the trust issues that too many of us have experienced with scams and the like, working with Veterans United and the team I was blessed with was absolutely amazing. The relief of having a personal group of caring professionals to help me through navigating the legal shoals of house buying took away the burden of concern about details and made for smooth, fast sailing.
Thank you for approving our loan. Out house is beautiful and coming along great. Also thank you for the flag hardware and our personalized door mat!!!
Advise all veterans to consider veterans United to be an option when looking to by a home.
It was quite overwhelming experience as a new home buyer, but thanks to the well oriented and prompt team of VU team, the process went smooth and pleasing for the most part!! Matt Landis and his team were always at my finger tips to be reach and assisted me in these journey to become a new home owner!! I highly recommend VU if you are considering VA home loan!!
The overall experience with Veterans United was a headache. Very frustrating when you can't reach anyone.
