Great experience. Worst thing was the scam mail and calls pretending to be veterans United. Made it very difficult to trust who I’m talking to.

Your entire Veterans United team went above and beyond helping Remond and I during the entire home buying process, setting up our utilities and moving. Overall the experience was good and veterans united was very responsive. We are in our new home on time and everything worked out. The online portal is an awesome feature. We would probably use VU again.There are some things that can be improved -We qualified for a military grant in our state. But about halfway through the process was being told by veterans united we couldn't use it due to our locked in interest rate. I ended up reaching out to the state myself and pushing and questioning veterans united - turns out I was correct and we were able to use it. I'm not sure where the disconnect was.We had an appraisal that was passed and clean only for it to be revised by the underwriters after realtors had already been told it was clear. Our loan office pushed back for us - but wasn't getting a response from the underwriter. I asked to request a waiver from the VA but was told no no- we will hear back from the underwriter. A week later no word- and turns out the underwriter was on vacation??! Two weeks later we submitted the waiver and was approved the same day. Seems all that delay and stress could have been avoided.We used a VU realtor because we were told we received a small credit. Turns out that isn't allowed in our state- we should have been told that up front- veterans united did not have accurate information.

This was my second VA home loan. My first VA loan experience was a nightmare. The lender was completely disorganized and obstacles were constantly popping up. After waiting at the title company for hours, we just barely closed on our home in time to avoid a severe storm. I was a little hesitant to work with a large company like Veterans United, but Bryan and the team at VU showed me that even though Veterans United is a busy company, they still put their clients first. There isn't a single negative thing I can think of. Bravo Zulu Victor Uniform!

Anne, Cara, and Sarah couldn’t be recommended enough. My family and I ran through many bumps in the road throughout this purchase from changes with my job, credit issues, and appraisals.
